Why Take My Class to Get Your Concealed Carry Permit?

Ron Kauffman, NC Certified Instructor

There are several benefits to taking my class to get your Concealed Carry Permit allowing you to legally carry a concealed firearm.  Here are some of them:

  • Select a Well-Known and Highly Rated Instructor: I have successfully trained more than 1000 students in my two-day classes and am recognized as one of the best instructors in western North Carolina.

  • Knowing the Law is Critical: My classes cover the major legal Do and Do Not answers related to where you may carry your firearm and the limited instances when you can legally use it to protect yourself and others.

  • Increased Personal Safety: It’s your decision to carry a concealed firearm. My classes explain the reasons to do so to protect yourself and your loved ones in increasingly dangerous times and situations.

  • Increase Your Peace of Mind: Being properly trained followed by personal ongoing practice will keep you sharp and will provide a sense of security as you go about your daily life. That’s peace of mind.

  • Legal Protection: In the event of a self-defense situation, having a permit and knowing when you may legally use deadly force can keep you out of legal jeopardy.

  • Concealed Carry Reciprocity: North Carolina has Concealed Carry Reciprocity agreements with most states. That means that you, as a permit holder, may carry in those states with basically the same legal protection if you have your permit and valid identification, usually a driver’s license, with you.

  • Liability Protection: As a gun owner, whether you carry concealed or keep your firearm solely for home protection, if you’re ever involved in any self-defense situation, whether it includes the use of a firearm or not, you are likely to be heavily entangled in our legal system.  There is a possibility that the District Attorney may bring criminal charges against you, and it is highly probable that the victim or his family will file a civil lawsuit against you.  My class introduces Right to Bear membership. It’s a protection policy that provides you with unlimited legal representation from the time of an incident through local court venues and if required the Appeal process, all the way to the Supreme Court. There are options for bail bond coverage, fifty state protection, minor child coverage and more for less than a cup of coffee a day.
